The Brodsky Organization

House Systems has been contracted by The Brodsky Organization to upgrade 30+ buildings across the Brodsky Organization residential portfolio with new access control and security surveillance systems. The Brodsky Organization is one of Manhattan’s most established developers, owners, and managers of residential and commercial spaces in New York City. The company has developed over 8,000 apartments in more than 80 rental, condominium and co-op buildings. The portfolio ranges from charming brownstones to renovated pre-war doorman buildings, to newly constructed high-rises with extensive building amenities. The neighborhoods span from West and Greenwich Village to Chelsea, Midtown West to Morningside Heights, and Midtown East to Carnegie Hill and Downtown Brooklyn. The security upgrades fall in line with modern day building improvements and allow residents a greater sense of security in their respective buildings. A major focus has been transitioning from keyed access to RFID access for all tenants. A monumental endeavor including the issuance of thousands of keyfobs. House Systems developed a comprehensive transition plan with Brodsky management to effectively transition the residents to the new access controls. Many of the buildings were pre-war dated with thick concrete and plaster walls and ceilings and as a result, these conditions made the installation experience arduous and complicated. A challenge met head-on by House Systems. In addition to upgrading the building portfolio security systems, House Systems provides The Brodsky Organization with Audio & Video design & installation services for amenity and common areas in new and existing buildings. These include fitness centers, group exercise rooms, spinning rooms, basketball courts, children’s playrooms, lounges, screening rooms, leasing offices, men’s & women’s bathrooms, conference and presentation rooms, cafe’s, common areas, outdoor areas and more.
